Shooting My Shot

Last blog I told you all about me doing it scared. Well, today I did it terrified! A representative from the Hollis Company reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing Rachel Hollis' new book "I Didn't See That Coming". Well of course I said heck yeah! She then informed me that they would pick next Friday. So today I started to feel really anxious about it. The lies started. I am not good enough. I don't have enough followers. My blog isn't big enough yet. However, instead of swimming in self-doubt, I picked myself up, turn on all my husband's camera lights, and recorded a video. It was an elevator pitch basically, I was asking my followers to follow me on IG and subscribe to my blog, and then I did it; I pitched myself to Rachel Hollis.

I REALLY want to review this book! I am a fan of hers, and I want to do what she does. I want to motivate women, I want to write books, and  I want to be a brand. The best way to do that is to follow the path of the person you inspire to be like did. They have already laid out the groundwork for you to follow.
