I am on high

At the beginning of the year, I heard one of Steve Harvey's motivational speeches saying you should write down 300 things that you are asking God for. I did it. Every night I review this list and a few nights back I realized a few of the things on my list God had already blessed me with. This night I looked at the 20th item on my list and laughed to myself. I just knew this item wouldn't be coming to pass this year with COVID-19 in play, but I did question myself and said, "I wonder when this will happen?" It was to attend a Rise conference with Rachel Hollis. I then closed my notebook and proceeded with my nighttime routine. The very next day on Instagram I saw a sale for the very first Virtual Rise Conference by Rachel Hollis or RiseXLive. In shock, I said, "nahhhh. Let me check these prices." Ya'll I click on those prices and it ranged from $40- $200. The normal ticket prices usually start at $200. I close the link flabbergasted. The rest of the day goes on I don't really think about it much, but then evening time comes and it comes back to my mind. I said let me get this ticket. I am now sitting at the table with Myon, and I am going through the steps to purchase this ticket. I get to the part where you have to confirm your purchase, and tears start falling down my face. Then I go to the confirmation email more tears start falling. Then the login information came, and now I am in a full I can't hide this sobbing cry. Myon looks up confused because we were just talking about something else, "Are you crying?" I reply, "Yeah I just purchased my Rachel Hollis ticket." I then proceed to tell him about my list and how I just had looked at the list the night before and thought this was impossible. Those were tears of joy and thankfulness, not sorrow. God is amazing.

Item 20 has now been crossed off of my list. I attended the conference, and it was so much more than I could've imagined. I can not wait to attend one in person. The speakers included Rachel and Davis Hollis, John Maxwell, Ed Mylett, Eric Thomas, Donald Miller, Jen Hatmaker, and Brit Barron. Some I knew, and some of them I had no clue who they were. However, I got something from every single one of them. Nine complete hours of pure bliss for me. Myon agreed to watch the kids all-day while I locked myself in our room, and locked completely in. I laughed I cried, and I took a bunch of notes. I love Rachel Hollis, and her realness. She is doing exactly what I want to do, and what I will do. Encouraging women across the globe, a New York Times best selling author, and entrepreneur. I dare you to step out on some crazy faith and manifest exactly what you want, and see how God answers your request. Something I did not see possible this year he answered the very next day.
