Happy New Year

Well howdy (in my most Texas accent)!! I haven't connected with ya'll since last year! LOL!! It is truly a blessing to be here and connect with you all in this little life of mine. I have been pondering about what my first post of 2021 was going to be about. I didn't know if I was going to make it about goals, my word for the year, or what I was going to keep the same. Honestly, if I am not feeling a blog I just won't put it out. As I pondered over this first topic, I couldn't help but reflect on 2020. See, 2020 was supposed to be the year of clear vision as #20/20vision was trending for almost all of January I am sure. However, to the world, it became a year no one expected. Here's my take on it though. 2020 absolutely became the year of clear vision. The world slowed down enough for everyone to have a clearer vision of what was right in front of them. Some did not like what God revealed to them, however, he showed you exactly what you needed to see for last year.

Now the question is how do you apply what you learned about yourself last year to this year? Last year I learned that I need to really embrace self-care. I learned that while my children are my world, it is totally ok to need a break. I learned that my marriage is my biggest asset. I learned that being a goal-getter isn't something that magically just happens overnight. I guess I always knew it, but I did not know how to apply it for myself. 2021 I am taking all my lessons and putting them into motion. I hope you do as well.
