Family is everything

It's has been a while since Dominique and I have gone this long between visits. Fortunately we are able to talk via video apps almost daily. Last weekend was an eye opener to me though. I was reminded of the demands that you get babies require of their mother's time. As my babies get older, I watch my wife juggle my daughters' three schedules like the steady hand of the finest surgeon. I'm often in awe when she lays out their weekly schedule. I witnessed that last weekend with Dominique seamlessly remembering every detail of the party. From decorations to food accommodations to giving attention to the kiddos that may have felt left out. Meanwhile, I'm just trying to remember where I let my keys and wallet (again). I am grateful and appreciative of these women and the inconceivably difficult balancing act that they display daily.
