Hey friends! I was going to write a blog about something random per usual, but God placed it on my heart to remind us as the holiday approaches check on your single friends, check on your friends that have lost somebody close to them, check on people this holiday season. I’m not talking about that generic happy Thanksgiving text either. I mean actually pick up the phone call them hear their voice. I know some of you probably gasp because we all know that I am not really a phone talker. I have a friend that usually throws a holiday party for those friends who don’t have family close by and/or that would usually be alone for the holidays. Unfortunately, this year due to Covid she won’t be able to. However, there is still a way to check on those people. If you can, drive by their house, sit in the driveway, wear your mask, and just say hello! A phone call does wonders. If they are like me, text them more than just happy Thanksgiving; ask how they are doing. If you know someone who may have lost their job take them a plate. A little can go a long way. Let’s not get so wrapped up in our family things that we forget about others that are also important to us. If you are a Black Friday shopper ask a retailer about their holiday and thank them for coming in to serve you. Let’s be intentional to connect with others this holiday season. While you here Happy Thanksgiving thanks for rocking with me on this blog. You all are appreciated so very much! Thanks for walking through my intimate, weird, angry, and funny moments with me.
God bless,

Dom
