Dear More Seasoned Me,
"You did it! You went on a journey for healing, and it wasn't easy. Not every day will be easy, but every day will be worth it. I really do not know what to say to you. You probably have more words for me, but seeing I haven't made it there yet, I don't know." What I do know is I will not stop until the self-sabotaging stops. I am probably still hard on myself, but I will no longer let it cripple me. I now use that same ability to be hard on me for motivation. Don't think before you speak. Some times you just have to let it flow out, or else you'll process it too much. Be confident with whose you are and who you are. Workout when you don't feel like it. Go to church when you don't feel up to it; those are the days the blessings come. Pray about EVERYTHING twice. Still make time for your kids; even though, they are grown. "More seasoned me, I know you are happy. I know you have become exactly what you always wanted but felt was unobtainable. I love you!"
Sincerely, Younger Me
Younger You
